Like I said in another thread, Larranaga might be boned
Real life Blue Chips.
Funny about Auburn cause they suck usually.
Bring on the slaps on the hands
Looking pretty likely, I'd say.
I've read several articles, and watched the press conference. I'm wondering why, with clear indications that was involvement from Coaches at Miami and Louisville, no coaches were arrested from either school. Crossing my fingers somehow L, Caputo and co. are in the clear, but not looking good.
Just read this thread, and Miami is f'd: https://www.canesinsight.com/thread/fbi-uncovers-massive-ncaa-scandal-miami-involved/122481
Miami is school 7, Coach 3 is pretty clearly implicated. Probably won't take past end of day to figure out who Coach 3 is.
Gotta be Caputo, unfortunately. He's f*cked. Just a matter of time before somebody rats him out.
It looks like our OOC schedule might get a bit easier once Louisville and Auburn fire their coaches...
TO THE MIAMI THREAD
I MEAN THE LARRANAGA THREAD
If somehow this fallout leads to DP getting poached I am going to ki** coach L for ruining Mason Basketball.
This might help us bc there must be alot of P5 coaches sick of being handcuffed by aau creeps.
I bet UNC rats gave the FBI inside info for immunity or a lessor penalty.
Another lie? Ncaa knew.
I’d love to see these schools get crushed but doubt they do much to them. Its all a business and the NCAA doesn’t like to mess with their cash cows. Meanwhile players like Mayimba get screwed and are never allowed to play.
At least change this thread to "bribery" if we're going to let it compete against my super awesome Miami thread.
I thought this thread was about pirates hitting the Barbary coast again.
NCAA no brainer. Criminal convictions clear their path. They will all flip and talk. Huge fallout coming.
There are no squeaky clean major college programs. Unfortunately, this isn't a surprise. Just some are better at hiding it than others.
Ten years ago Duke was recruiting a player who went on to play in the NBA. A Duke grad happened to get this recruits mother a high paying job. The player coincidentally enough just so happened to sign at Duke. Sure, the player wasn't *directly* paid, but it doesn't take an FBI employee to know what's going on.
Duke isn't the only one.
I didn't get my degree in spelling as you all can see!
Looks like Pitino is gone. Was looking forward to seeing us beat him in November... now we'll have to beat someone else.
On ESPN this morning some were calling for the "Death Penalty" for Louisville.
