Yep...a team that panics when the game plan isn’t working. The team was not well connected today in either side of the ball.

The plus side- people going to Brooklyn only need to pack a green shirt for Wednesday night, not sure if we’ll even make it outta the PIG.

Why would anyone go to Brooklyn? Complete waste of money and time.

Maybe my team didn't win last year, but I had a great time in Brooklyn. Cheap flights, great food, and reasonable hotel rates. And it was worth it just to watch about 5000 VCU fans file out of the Barclays heartbroken.

Yep. But, we've put ourselves in this position, f***ing sucks. I live in Hoboken, NJ and won't even be attending our likely PIG. I hope the lack of fan support pisses the AD off, in a good way.

1 reason I hate the A-10....stuck in Brooklyn.

Richmond sucked...but you know what....it was cheap and easy.

I can envision the release from the AD:

"Today, George Mason Assistant Vice President, Director of Athletics Brad Edwards announced that both the Mason Men's and Women's basketball teams will forego participation in the 2020 A10 tournaments. Given that both teams are at the bottom of the league and the outcome of our tournament games is all but certain, we have decided to spend the money we save on participating in these tournaments, instead, on our new strategy to pump money into recruiting. In unrelated Mason athletics news, Darryl Green's contract has been renewed for 5 more years and he has been given a $50k annual salary increase."

They are immune to it and the same 15 people will still go to Brooklyn like last year. Better product=more fans, simple as that.

I’m going to see if I even attend, life may get in the way.

Hey there’s still a competitive race to the bottom! Homecoming could be crucial for that 14th tiebreaker!! Huuuuuuuugggeeee game for homecoming. Glad the “pats” are back in action. Wtf does this ad do with branding.

seriously though. Joes has 3 winnable games in their last five. We really could end up in 14th.

As of right now mason would play Fordham in an 11/14 game

winner would play the 6 seed, currently vcu

This has Pittsburgh A10 Tournament circa 2017 written all over it. We'll need OT to beat Fordham, play VCU the next day and will lose by double digits. Except everything will happen a day earlier

Hey, if we're going to be relegated to the PIG then let's at least capture the top seed... that is the 11th seed.

Now that made me, literally, laugh out loud.

We are going for the number one seed in the tournament (the PIG that is).
