Fire Nyla, re-assign Dave to replace her, and hire a new men's basketball coach.
I have personal bias from a friend connection but the guy who coaches radford woman's basketball would be good.
Didn’t know we had so many women’s basketball fans on the boards.
Interestingly, Mason hired Radford's 2 previous head coaches: former Mason head coach Jeri Porter and current assistant Tajama Abraham Ngongba.
Trivia question: Jeri Porter's father and Tajama Abraham Ngongba's brother were Mason basketball players. Name them?
Nasilo "Nas" Abraham
Nsilo Abraham is a correct partial answer to the question.
John Wiley... this one was tough. I had to use some Pablo level google search skills
You are correct! Like his daughter, Wiley was a basketball coach in this area (Prince George's Community College) - https://www.pgccowls.com/halloffame:
"John Wiley, Men's Basketball/Coach (Class of 1972)
John Wiley was a standout student-athlete on the men's basketball team at Prince George's and returned to have tremendous success as a head coach for the men's basketball program. After two years on the Owls men's basketball team, he transferred to George Mason after two seasons and played two stellar seasons (1972-74) with the Patriots, recording 970 points in 57 career games for the Fairfax program. He ranks 10th in career points per game average (17.0) for George Mason. Wiley returned to Largo to become the head coach of the Owls in 1985-86 and stayed in that post until the end of the 2009-10 season to finish with a record of 447-245 in 24 seasons. He not only amassed hundreds of success on the court but the equally tremendous success of players off the court. Under his leadership, Prince George's was consistently ranked nationally, winning three NJCAA Region XX titles and participating in the NJCAA Men's Basketball Championships (1991, 1993, 2008). Wiley, who was named the Maryland JUCO Coach of the Year four times, earned his 400th career win during the 2005-06 campaign. His presence and commitment courtside remain as large as his legendary record demonstrates."
Might need to find a way to retain Tajama Abraham Ngongba. Looks like her son Patrick, Class of 2024 might be pretty good. Already has a couple offers as a Freshman. Twitter said he grew 4 inches in the last 7 moths and is now 6'7
Has him listed as the #13 SG in the Nation
Old...From 2016: Stated he was ranked at #4 in the nation
I would guess that if he signs with any local A10 school it would be GW where his parents played.
This. Reassign DPs sorry ass within the department. Other than that, just contract honey ball. No one will notice.
After losing at home to Ole Miss 64-34, is it time to start speculating on Mason's next women's basketball coach?
They are just another sport that will always be operating at a loss so I couldn’t care if they replace her with @gmujim92
Mason doesn't care about hanging banners.
I’ll start the hashtag.
She will not be toast
Final | Fordham 62 Mason 32. Patriots are held to their lowest point total of the season. They were out-rebounded 45-28. #GetPatriotic#A10WBB
I believe this was the fewest total points George Mason has scored in the shot-clock era. Previous low was 33 against Maryland on December 22, 2005.
Overall fewest points was 13 in the first ever game in program history, a 19-13 loss on February 3, 1974. #GetPatriotic#A10WBB
