"Fairfax, Va. -- In line with the NCAA and the Atlantic 10 Conference's cancelation of its basketball championships and all remaining spring NCAA Championships, the George Mason University Athletic Department has canceled all remaining 2019-20 academic year athletic competition. In addition, all team related activities have been suspended until further notice.

This decision was made in consultation with the A-10 Presidents' Council and Athletic Directors.

Given the rapidly changing environment regarding the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the decision was made to protect the safety, health and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and the university community."
