I don't know. I actually don't use twitter so I like the linking. I always click on the links.

Seems like maybe tweets should be their own thread. I appreciate the effort but often times it's just our players tweeting something kind of vanilla like "game day let's go". I hit the ignore button simply because I follow them on twitter and have mostly seen them by the time they're posted here, but every thread ends up looking like some old school WWII intelligence report where every other line has been redacted.

At the very least, Pablo needs to remove the graphics so it doesn't take up so much of the post. Some of the Twitter graphics are really big and add nothing to the content.

    I second this.

And may I amend: If one insists on posting Twitter bits then apply two criteria for inclusion in a thread. 1.) Determine if the Tweet to be posted is relevant to the current conversation and contains worthy information, and 2.) Post the entire Tweet rather than only a link to a Tweet.

Why not apply the first criterion to every post on this board, not just tweets?

Baby steps, good sir... baby steps.

Thank you for your attempts to follow the second criteria. It helps tremendously to post the entire Tweet.

IMO Pablo's earned the right to post whatever he wants, in whatever form he chooses.

I'm fine with what he does now. Being blocked at work made the links worthless

Did anyone realize Ian Boyd "Earned All-Conference Academic team during his first three school years" ?

Paulsen's recruiting is helping the program in more ways than just on the court performance.

Will he be back for the Richmond game?

Ian Boyd has not progressed in to the player we thought he would become as of yet.... consistent scoring threat, high level defender, etc. He is our 5th highest scorer on the team this year while averaging 27 minutes a game. Will he ever become an elite player, if so will he get there this year, next year, or ever? Right now he is just not the player we thought we had coming in.

Going back and looking at this thread..... what is pretty amazing is his offers and lack their of. Only us, Radford and Western Carolina were recruiting the 14th best kid in the state of NC. Something just doesn't seem right..... did the bigger schools see something in his game, or lack there of, to not recruit him? Being in the back yard of ACC, CAA, and A-10 schools why didn't he have more basketball offers??? Programs will know if the kid is going to play football or basketball - when visiting and talking with the kid and coach they will usually inform them of their intentions so they can work towards a scholarship.

Curious to know if scouts saw something in his overall game that alerted them they he may not translate in to a high caliber player for their program.

Do you see something in his game that would scare away other schools? I don't. I just see a player on a team where almost everyone is playing out of position. Also, you have to consider that these kids know they are outmatched almost every game. DP has put them all in a tough spot this year. None of them look good this year. Perhaps if our scheme was different he would flourish? Is it our lack of generating turnovers and getting run outs? Maybe that's why Newman left for a program that is more up tempo. Boyd was voted NC basketball player of the year. I doubt it was bc he was unproductive.

notice Harry Giles was on his team. Maybe when we get better bigs it will free him up.

Boyd was asked to play as a 4 for a majority of his freshman year and now spot duty at the four with AJ. Remember when we tried to play Jenkins out of position as a 3 and his game suffered?

Yes please consider he is playing the 4! We also don't have any bigs who can clear out the paint for any of our guards to drive cleanly. Jenkins did a great job of that last season.
