Texas State University's football team is another cautionary tale. Next thing you know, you'll be holding open tryouts and trying to get astrophysics PhD candidates to play defensive tackle.

My guess is that Coach Dave knows what Javon is capable of doing—30+ points and 5+ rebounds per contest. As we all know, the best leaders lead by example. Javon is a senior and must set the example for the underclassmen. That means playing up to one's potential and no pouting.

It looks like whatever occurred was at the 18-minute mark of the second half. Just prior, Javon failed to fight through a screen. Then he came out of the game. The next time we saw a shot of the Mason bench, Javon was sulking.

Javon was probably asked during halftime to make an adjustment and he didn't do what Coach Dave told him. So that's when the conflict occurred. The actual conflict is anyone's guess. We'll see Saturday at Dayton as to how Javon will respond.

If true, that’s the 3rd player suspended this year. Paulson must not give a shit and trying to collect that last year of severance. He’s gotta know he’s on the hot seat. Why jeopardize your career with suspending starters for multiple games? I mean wtf, Skinn punched a player in the nuts and only served a one game suspension.

Unless he tried to punch Paulsen, I can’t imagine a scenario where he would get 4 games for anything that happened during a game.

Agree, guys get less than 4 games for fighting during a game. Short of pulling down his pants and pooping on Paulsens clipboard, I can’t see a 4 game suspension being legit. If it’s true, then I honestly don’t know what to say. Obviously not in the locker room so I don’t know what was said/done, but nothing I saw from the broadcast would justify any suspension.
