Game is on ESPN+ for those of us who can't get enough bad basketball.

Both St. Joe's and Fordham finished 2 - 16 in A10 play. We draw St. Joe's since they won the head to head with Fordham.

We won the only meeting of the year 62-55 at EBA on Homecoming.

    Box Score: https://gomason.com/sports/mens-basketball/stats/2019-20/saint-joseph-s/boxscore/10552

Who really gives a crap at this point?

My prediction: St. Joe's wins 65-64. DP praises them for having an "excellent year" and that they are "a really good basketball team."

Discuss.... or ignore. Does it really matter?

Does this game have any bearing on Kier’s eligibility for next year? I thought I read somewhere if we win and play another game, it would put Kier’s percentage of games under the threshold of becoming ineligible.

I hope we win this game and then put up a massive fight against whoever the 5 seed is going to wind up being to give us some kind of hope that next year will be better than this one.

Haven't had an A-10 win streak. Does GMU finally get one?

That #5 seed is St. Bonaventure... good i guess for the 5 seed we can beat maybe...

then 4 seed St. Louis if we somehow get there... which is like 0.000000000000000001%

To bad we didn’t finished 11th or 14th lol. I would rather play Duquesne.

Agreed, except Duquesne has spent the entire season playing at neutral/away courts, so they are battle tested in a way no other team is.

Bonaventure is a tough match-up for us, because they are huge and have two players we have no answer for (Osun and Lofton).

The 6 foot 10 guy on the bench plays like 5 more mins per game than our 7 foot walk on that hasn’t played a minute this year. But sure we can definitely go with that. They are HUGE. You must think St. Louis has a roster of Monstars lol. Bona is a normal A10 roster. We just don’t have one.

SLU plays guys who are smaller (Collins listed at 6'0, Weaver at 5'10), Hasahn French is 6'7. If Jimerson and Thatch weren't hurt, that's a different story.

Maybe huge in comparison to a high major/NBA team isn't what I was saying, it's huge in comparison to us.

The new rivalry continues. I don't like these guys. Let's get those bragging rights.

We are the better team, however I would not even be remotely surprised if we lose this game. Last couple of weeks have seemed tough on the team with Javon being in the dog house and Jamal going down yesterday. If we look past St Joes in any way, shape, or form we will lose this game, because I promise you they aren’t looking past us at all.

I would think looking past opponents is one of the few problems we don’t have.
