Well that was a fun road trip! I love Paulsen's dominance against Mooney, so I hope Mooney sticks around.

I was at the UNC game tonight and it wasn’t bad at all.

Heck, it was easier getting off campus tonight than it ever was for a Mason game... and there were 12,000 more people.

Just finished my recording, total team effort and they hung on to win. Got a little nutty towards the end but glad they got the bounces they needed.

Greene was huge today, definitely provided a lift in Grayer’s absence. Mar had some brain farts and near brain farts but also scored 17 points and nailed a few threes. Calixte continues to show improvement in the post on both sides of the ball. They have enough to win, but they have to get bounces to get there.

Nice to get a win, would love to see Mason win the next one to go into homecoming with momentum and try to get out of the play in round.

Being a richmond resident i wouldnt miss the game. I got there about half hr. Before the game and also parked in Jepson Alumni lot grabbed the bus, there in five minutes. Its true though that there are many reserved lots and the campus is maze like. Brad Edwards was there and met some family members he brought.

Hey after my man Otis who is a highlite real hats off to Javon, I thought he was the big reason we won. He is not at all bashfull about taking the ball to the hoop. Mar and Kier heated up after a slow start. Buckingham was benched right before the game, disp
Reasons. He may have made the difference for Spiders. Any event good all around effort. Look for Jevon to get more playing time.

Great win! Wow. 5 minutes into the game
    I was expecting blowout loss.

Otis is really a solid player, and continues to improve. What was once a wild drive is now a reasonable shot attempt or a sweet dish to a man down low. Not going to get crazy yet, but next year the college game could come really easy to this guy.

For the rest of the team, just hoping they continue to get better. It’s a 14 month plan right now, with us hopefully making some noise next March. An appearance in the A10 championship game would be awesome and I think a realistic expectation.

I live 4 hours away so looking forward to seeing the team live on homecoming.

They must have changed things, because I was there when we played them in the early 2000's and ended up in a lot that required a bus to get to the Dean Dome. There wasn't any logic to their parking, then, and I was there hours in advance. I got friends that are UNC grads but they are season ticket holders, but I suspect they have a parking pass like UR does for their season ticket holders.

My theory on road games, even if you have been to the arena before, is to map it out in advance, read the parking directions, and print out a campus map. ODU has a garage across the street from the arena, as does VCU. William and Mary has a big parking lot in front of the arena. The list goes on and on.

We can't lose vs Richmond...Nice to see Greene step.

I wonder if we can get Jerseys that say Patriots across the front. Pretty cool.

This was really the first game I was able to watch start to finish, this year. What a nice road win to get off the schneid, but damn, there was never a point in the game where I thought, we got this. The young guys hung on through a tough last 7 minutes or so given the sloppy play and some bad calls.

Green had some great timing when coming off his man to pressure the ball handler once he got in a bit of trouble. I hope this is something we see more of given Palusen's normally conservative def. scheme.

Love Mar's confidence shooting threes as a freshman!

Oh, Golden, thanks for taking, and all out bricking or airballing those threes in the second half, we needed em.

Another dishonorable thing Richmond does is 1, play their tiny bands music through their sound system to make them loud. 2, turn up their sound system to it's loudest to distract the opposing teams time out meeting. So I know it's against the rules to bring noise makers because it's artificial sound. So isn't turning up your sound system the same thing........

It also sounded like UR was playing the beginning of the Packers "go Pack go" song (just the instrumental part) as well as an old LA Lakers sound effect that I don't know how to put into words. Both sounded well timed on TV

I agree with your theory. As you're coming into Chapel Hill, you see signs for public parking and shuttle service, so I can definitely understand why people would do that and then regret it after. :)

You're welcome. Let me know if you're interested in NC State or Duke's parking situation as well.

    Any idea about N.C. A&T?

They played some instrumental music constantly after a made free throw and it got really annoying after a while. It wasn’t that short. Not sure if that’s the same thing though.

Yes. They'll pick you up and pay for your ticket. And they guarantee that no matter the score, you'll always come away with a happy ending.

This was Greene's best game since Auburn, one rebound away from a double double. It is good with the limited amount of players we have that someone stepped up with Grayer out.

I think we got lucky with some of Richmond's threes that missed. They went 4-21 from there.

The rematch will be interesting, presuming Grayer is back by then and Buckingham won't be suspended again.
