I'll add details later.
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University men's basketball team has announced a series of scheduling updates for the next two weeks of competition.
Mason's December 16 home game vs. Coppin State has been canceled as the Patriots continue to pause basketball activities.
Mason will add a game vs. VMI, scheduled for Monday, December 21 at 1 p.m. inside EagleBank Arena. The Patriots' game against Towson, originally planned for December 22, will be moved to Wednesday, December 23 (4 p.m.) in EBA.
Hopefully they can get the two games in.
For those wondering, VMI is really really bad. I laughed when I saw their coaches record. 44-111 and 18-72 in conference.
Coppin St. is even worse.
Hopefully the VMI game is a glorified scrimmage and an easy 15 point win
Haven't looked at them in detail yet but I would hope so. I'll post the thread soon. Knowing DP and our record at home it will be closer than expected or a surprise loss. Heads, including mine, will explode. It sucks not having confidence the program.
Why the hell are games on the 16th getting cancelled? That's over the 14 day mark which has been adjusted by the CDC, but not the almighty George Mason for some reason....
I understand having to cancel things, delay things, reschedule etc. Just make it nested in some form of logic.
Maybe someone else tested positive or perhaps many "someone elses".
Or it’s the other team. Towson got postponed bc they are on quarantine.
Email specifically said as the Patriots continue to pause basketball activities.
Other team still playing their schedule so no
Must have been more positive cases, otherwise no reason to pause activities for so long.
DP is scared of this kid
Don't blame him, he'd drop 50 on us.
