I don't like black uniforms for anything. Our colors are green, gold, and white. Period. Black isn't one of our colors.

You wear white at home and green on the road. No other options.

I'm cool with the gold alternate jersey for either home or away. But I'd say "no" to black and "h-e-double-hockey-sticks no" to gray. Those things were brutal.

But then again, I'm old. What recruits like is more important than what a plaid pants wearing booster likes.

I like rocking the black socks, sandals, and Bermuda shorts with a white belt. Of course the belt must be up around my armpits. Talk about scoring with the babes!

Man I would hope facilities are way more important to recruits than uniform colors. But then again Kimbraugh decided to get play in La Salle's high school gym so who the f*ck knows.

Recruits (to my understanding) are really attracted to 8000 different uniforms and styles. That's fine by me, my only thing is to keep it in school colors. I remember about 5 years back UNC wore a gray jersey for a game. There was almost a revolt in Chapel Hill! There are a ton of things that influence a recruit, like practice facility, the people who were on campus the day they visited, what restaurants are in the JC, etc. Uniforms might not be number one, but they're big to a 17 year old. Most of us could care less, but a 17 year old wants to look smooth in their swag. I intentionally turned down playing college basketball at a D2 school for many reasons...but near the top was the fact they wore Converse.

The point is just like older people didn't grasp what we liked when we were 17, we now don't grasp what 17 year olds of today value.

Are they plaid shorts, with stripes on your shirt, too?

Kimbrough got sold on being turned into a 3 when he's a back to the basket player. Also apparently playing in the Big 5 (+1) every year was a big draw for him.

Dude, I was retarded at 17. Honestly, I don't know how I managed to get from morning to evening without dying on a daily basis, I was that stupid.

I'm no genius now, but at 17, the town of Herndon was harboring at least one full-blown blithering idiot.

Throw a female in the mix and I somehow got stupider, which doesn't seem possible, but I assure you it was.

We should show Adams the Capital One Center.

"Hey kid, you want to see where we'll play a handful of games this year and where Georgetown loses in front of 2,500 people once a week?"

I know this fight is lost, but Georgetown reminds me again how much I'd prefer a really intimate 5k seat gym that is packed to the Patriot center
