https://twitter.com/houston_wilson1/status/1043550164428951552 Mason offered 2021 recruit James Gross...Can some one please pin this thread.
I’ve been asking myself that same question. The only answer I can come up with is my lack of knowledge about the game of basketball. Other than that, I would be perfect.
Darius Johnson put up some very impressive stats in a game last week. 13/19 FGs, 4/7 3PTs, 5/5 FTs, 35 pts, 11 rebs https://twitter.com/jwherron10/status/1071215944431779840
"Johnson", "Pipe" and "Solid" all in the same sentence . Careful Jim, you're coming close to infringing on Pikapps schtick.
So sick of posting high school stats, JDS had ridiculous numbers and almost never gets off the bench. It means nothing.
It doesn't mean a whole lot when he's at college, no, but it means he's dominate at his current competition level -- and as a sophomore, so it's not meaningless. But at 5'11, he's going to have to be next level at the college level because getting his shot off is going to be much tougher if he doesn't have the length to shoot over people. Does he grow at all between now and 2021? I hope so, because we'll have his brother Xavier at 6'0, Harwell at 5'10ish, and Javon Greene at 6'1ish all at that position already.
Who is 6'2? Darius Johnson is listed at 5'11 on Episcopal High School's roster. Or do you mean JDS? I was talking about Darius Johnson in my post and the fact that as a high school sophomore he's putting up impressive stats is encouraging.
