In response to Northam’s announcement, JMU lowered their basketball 8,500 seat arena capacity from 1,000 down to 250.

I personally think we will be doing the same. Nothing to base it on other than looking at how our AD operates.

So basically Mason will be at 250 since 30% of 9850 (or even the reduced capacity of 7,200) exceeds 250

I'm not sure they could pull this off, but maybe they could pull off some sort of virtual attendance situation like WWE or the NBA has done.

I'd pay for that as long as they put me in section 115. Better than nothing.

Well there we have it, unless the Gov grants an exemption that’s where we are, right?

Would the old people in section 115 still complain that fans were too drunk and loud virtually? Assuming they know how to use their computer and camera.

they’d be the types that would have the camera stuck up their nose during the game without realizing it.

An e-mail from the Mason ticket office states that ticket purchase procedures will be announced November 30 to season ticket holders. Season tix holders will be allocated 150 seats based upon priority points and 100 seats will be for the general public.

Any chance anyone here has a list of where people stand with their priority points? I mean, you hear about them, but you never see them.

Got an email from the Pat club but sadly was not about season tickets.

Looks like we are doing another giving campaign. Donations up to 10k will be matched by the Beck Family Foundation (which I am very confused about which Beck Foundation it is -- do a quick google search and let me know if you can decipher if it's the Veterans org or the family trips to Africa).

I'll go ahead and make my final donation now unless we are playing meaningful ball in March or Paulsen is fired by the end of the A10 tournament. Very generous of the Becks to make what is essentially a 10 grand donation right now. Hopefully they get the super duper deluxe coaches circle of good kids and YMCA basketball package which includes foot rubs from Paulsen himself in a Mt. Dew tub (or so I'm told).

It's got to be this one: http://www.thebeckfoundation.org/

The other one is based in Utah (there's even a third Beck Family Foundation based in Winter Park, Florida).

Beat me to it, Buddy Beck is on the Patriot Club board. Glad that someone was able to stand up and do a match campaign. Even if numbers are down hopefully they'll be able to salvage something this year.
