    In response to Northam’s announcement, JMU lowered their basketball 8,500 seat arena capacity from 1,000 down to 250.

    I personally think we will be doing the same. Nothing to base it on other than looking at how our AD operates.

Entertainment and Amusement Businesses Performing arts venues, concert venues, sports venues, movie theaters, museums, aquariums, fairs, carnivals, public and private social clubs, botanical gardens, entertainment centers, historic horse racing facilities, bowling alleys, skating rinks, arcades, trampoline parks, arts and craft facilities, escape rooms, amusement parks and zoos not covered in paragraph 11, and other places of indoor public amusement may open provided such businesses comply with the Guidelines for All Business Sectors and the sector-specific guidelines, which are expressly incorporated by reference herein. Such guidance includes, but is not limited to, the following requirements:

    a. The total number of attendees (including both participants and spectators) cannot exceed the lesser of 30% of the lowest occupancy load on the certificate of occupancy, if applicable, or 250 persons."

    So basically Mason will be at 250 since 30% of 9850 (or even the reduced capacity of 7,200) exceeds 250

    I'm not sure they could pull this off, but maybe they could pull off some sort of virtual attendance situation like WWE or the NBA has done.

    I'd pay for that as long as they put me in section 115. Better than nothing.

    Would the old people in section 115 still complain that fans were too drunk and loud virtually? Assuming they know how to use their computer and camera.

    they’d be the types that would have the camera stuck up their nose during the game without realizing it.

    An e-mail from the Mason ticket office states that ticket purchase procedures will be announced November 30 to season ticket holders. Season tix holders will be allocated 150 seats based upon priority points and 100 seats will be for the general public.
