It is probably the heavy load on the system caused by "fans" looking for tickets to our upcoming games...

I may be using my nominations early in the year, but this post gets my second nomination for post of the year.

This perfectly describes our basketball program under Paulsen and Edwards.

Can we also talk about followed by a postgame hugging session by the campfire? like

"Fun filled activities celebrating academic excellence by showing our family friendly neighbor schools ability to put a ball through the hoop against our will. Followed by a postgame hugging session by the campfire"

"Fun filled activities celebrating academic excellence by showing our friendly neighbor schools ability to put a ball through the hoop against our will. Followed by a postgame hugging session by the campfire joined by the players' family members, some of whom have traveled from as far away as Georgia to show their support."

I think we need to add some reference to displaying the basketball program's social justice views in there.

Final: VCU 84 GW 77 Rams held a double-digit advantage almost the entire second half. Late run for GW fell just a bit short. Sloppy game with a combined 43 (!) turnovers. VCU now moves into a tie for 1st place with Richmond and St. Bonaventure at 3-1 in the A-10.

FINAL: SBU 68 FOR 54 An excellent first half from Fordham turns into a frustrating second half. SBU's Jaren Holmes finishes as the top scorer for both teams with 26 points.

"NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced today that the 2021 Men’s Basketball Championship will be relocated from Barclays Center to the campus of an A-10 member institution. The decision to relocate the March championship is due to the current COVID-19 pandemic environment, and was made in agreement with BSE Global CEO John Abbamondi and Barclays Center. The championship is scheduled to return to the Brooklyn venue in 2023 and 2024.
