We worked it out where our entire team will be 6'7 next year!!
I have heard through unreliable "sources" that the official press release from our SID will be delayed until Leesburg Chankenstank II apologizes profusely to the SID first.
thanks for holding us all up here for the excitement, Chank
Actually I did: http://masonhoops.com/board/threads/hate.42/page-50
Yes! We are going for the shortest basketball team of all time achievement.
Even shorter than the Washington Generals!
So, here's the news on the most recent George Mason University athletic signing ...
Noelle Saine signed her Letter of Intent to run for George Mason University Track and Cross Country teams.
We are very proud parents.
She is soooo happy to be a Patriot. She's wanted to run for Mason for a very long time.
In fact, I'll bet she's attended more basketball games and tournaments than most of the people here.
And to keep this remotely basketball related, here's a picture of Noelle with Jordan Miller.
Do I feel trolled?
A little bit.
Did I deserve it?
Will I congratulate you?
I've lost track of which players it was, and at least one of them has now transferred out, but they had a guy on their roster with a full academic scholarship, and a guy on their roster who was on scholarship for a different sport. So those two didn't count.
They were never over the limit in terms of currently enrolled students, although they did accept 2-3 more commitments than they had spots available from graduating players. It looked pretty dirty from a distance but maybe they already knew who was leaving, even if it hadn't been announced?
definitely sketchy... but they are under the limit now.. Dambrot is certainly not holding back recruiting to replace current roster players.
Congrats! What event does she compete in?
Nice, I'd be ecstatic too! Congrats
She is a mid-distance runner. So, the 800, 1500, but she also runs one leg of Valley's 4x400 team. So we'll see what Coach Gerard wants to do in the coming school/athletic year.

Wright State transfer Everett Winchester to FAU.
If I had to guess you'll probably be waiting a while.
My niece runs track at Madison High School and I am hoping she looks at GMU to continue developing there. She is cross country and middle distance as well.
back to basketball recruiting for 2018....
with Winchester singing with FAU, we don't have anything on the horizon.
Looks like we might potentially just keep the scholarship and have 3 available next year. We aren't really listed with anyone else except that Wichita State transfer SG who is visiting other schools.
Is he on a music scholarship there?
