If Hewitt believed the magic height was 6'7.. i think Paulsen believes it is 6'4.
His offer list is going to blow up so it's a good thing we're in on him early. It's the only chance we have to get kids like Miller who will eventually have P-5 offers to choose from.
I've seen Miller reported at 6-4, but heard he's actually closer to 6-6 at this point. Has a chance to hit Hewitt's magic number if he keeps growing.
don't know if mason is (or should be) interested, but another local kid from right down the street picked up an offer from lasalle:
I tend to agree but wouldn't say that's by any means a gimme. Guy led his team to a state title at 22 a game and is good size for a shooting guard/perhaps 3. Usually if you do that after your junior year you have hard offers. This is Miller's first DI offer and not like he's an unknown commodity.
I have heard conflicting things from people more in the know than me about what type of school Miller projects at. No one objective I've talked to has even mentioned P-5. Not saying I don't like it--would love to see him play for Mason.
Urbach is having a good AAU season and is an example of what I just said. He's a 6'4" SG (good size) that I believe has quite a few more offers than Miller despite not even being the best player on his team last year.
You are certainly right and Mason could wind up being Miller's best offer. I would be fine with that because I think the kid's best basketball is ahead of him and frankly our staff is doing a great job of identifying and landing under-recruited prospects (Otis, Jaire, Kier, Boyd, Wilson all qualify).
Personally I can't figure out why Miller hasn't gotten low DI offers yet. Was wondering that all year.
Seems that Virginia's public school players get less and less respect every year.
Maybe because Loudoun Valley was 4A. Only thing I can think of but I think LV this year was as good as anyone public or private statewide, any level, only exception probably Trinity.
I blame Patrick Holloway
PVI public school definitely to blame..
Whoops! Forgot he was PVI. I blame VA Catholic schools!
But at least Paulsen also believes in a balanced roster and not just having 3/4 of a team from 6'7 to 6'9 lol.
Jordan Miller SG/PG 6'4 and growing - Leading scorer on a state championship team that only lost 2 games in the past 2 seasons? Dont care what doubters say, SIGN THIS KID PLEASE!!!
Agree - I've seen LV a couple of times. Miller is a baller. Hope the transition to a D1 program translates.
This info is all great, but can someone please post a link to a tweet about it? Otherwise I don't believe it.
Blessed to have received an offer from George Mason University #GoPatriots
Thank God for Gemini stepping up and filling in for our retired Twitter poster .
Jordan Miller was named Player of the Year!
2017 DMVelite All-Northern Virginia
2017 DMV 1st team All-DMV
Not a bad showing in a robust group.
Here is some information from a really cool site that a lot of cool people use. I have never disagreed with one thing I have read on this site and I'll bet whoever founded it has balls the size of church bells.
