Yes, it would be a gamble. Dependent on who is available and interested though, I think it would be difficult to offer any sort of immediate PT considering the pace of development of Calixte and expectations for Reuter. And with how many wings we will have on the roster, Mar will likely continue to start at the 4.

Maybe this would be the year to take a project big? Although, that would probably lead to another Temara/Dixon-type and transfer.

Looking at the vid we have 2 guys already with that skill set, Mar and AJ. Maybe that is why they cooled off on him. We need a junk yard dog 4.

Looking for an update from those knowledgeable. I know the staff keeps things close to the chest. From a quick scan of this thread, looks like the legitimate 2018 names that have been mentioned that haven't committed anywhere yet are:

    Aaron Johnson-Cash
    Zach Newkirk
Robert Braswell (no offer reported? and his list is growing at a fast rate)
Xavier Pinson (although, he is reportedly not interested in Mason and just received an offer from Georgetown)

I assume with students returning to class on the 22nd, some visits may be in order soon?

It is really weird how quiet we are going in to the late signing period considering we have two scholarships open.

He looks pretty good... But why do we need 3 shooting guards in one class with no other positions signed?

We don't. Unless someone is leaving and they actually know ahead of time.

I agree, we need some grad transfers. The goal is to have Otis and Grayer dancing in their final year.

Jordan Miller and Jason Douglas Stanley are both shooting guards. If we signed Jaylen Richard, that would be three SGs for 2018.

All three fall into the 2/3 position. I think Jordan and Jaylen would fall under the 3.

Yep, we desperately need a big body or two down low to attract attention and take the pressure off of our perimeter shooters. Miller and JDS and all of our guards will continue to be beaten into submission by opposing Ds and have little impact until Paulsen can balance the roster.

Glad you agree we have roster issues caused by Lil Dave.
